Two former takeaway owners have been fined for serving up faeces in a piece of chocolate cake.
Saeed Ramine Hasmi and Jan Agha Yadgari landed hefty fines for selling food unfit for human consumption.
The pair ran Italiano Pizzeria in City Road, Cardiff, which has since been taken over by new owners.
A Cardiff council spokeswoman said its food safety team was alerted on August 30, 2006.
“The person who bought the cake realised it didn’t taste or smell quite right so they reported it to us,” she said.
“Subsequent examination by the public analyst and national public health service laboratories confirmed the presence of faecal matter.
“There were bits of it all over the top of the cake. We can’t say for definite what kind of faecal matter it is, although it is likely it was human. It would have to go through a DNA test for us to know for sure.”

I went round the back of a takeaway in Leicester last week to use the toilet and saw one of the chefs spitting in the pot used to mix the sauces. I left immediatley and called the health people. they are making an investigation and i'll let you know when it can be published.

I used to work in a restuarant and we always put a bit of stuff in the food like snot and spit. the kuffers dont deserve any better.
You have to be careful thease days when the heat of hate cooks our meals. When Iraq's die by the dozens everyday, Muslim idiots here are shitting into food, thinking that's going to change life for the better. I want to shit in their food and see how they like it. Or how about we all take a dump on the Koran and serve it to them page by page, letter by letter, shred by shred. stupid Muslim cucumbers.
